Paint with the teacher as she demonstrates easy ways to create realism with watercolor, or bring your own paintings for help on your favorite subjects in this flexible class. If you’ve never done watercolor, all materials can be provided for an additional $20 material fee, so you can experience the great results of using quality materials. Deb will cut through the confusion of color so even beginners can understand how to pick and use the best colors for easy mixing and professional results. Many new products that make watercolor easier and more doable will be demonstrated - like Qor modern watercolor paint that doesn’t fade in color as it dries, masking markers to apply masking lines easily, and more.
Deb will provide outline pages that can be traced so students can concentrate on painting techniques. Different methods of applying watercolor paint for smooth washes and textures will be covered, as well as how to correct mistakes.

Arches 140 lb or 300 lb cold pressed paper
Size 6 round brush
Large wash brush…I recommend Silver Black Velvet 3/4” oval
Paper towels
Misting spray bottle
Any paint colors that you normally use
If you want to try some brilliant colors that mix well, Qor brand sample set of high chroma colors.
