Our goal is to learn and have fun . This class is designed for the Beginner Watercolorist who will learn techniques through practice with several group projects. They will also have the opportunity to paint subjects of their own choice. More experienced painters may work on their own paintings or join us doing the group paintings. There is a suggested supply list below. As you see what you need in each class, you can head to an art store with a coupon and add to your supplies.
I began watercolor painting after I retired in 2004. My previous painting was in oil, but a friend and I wanted to travel and it is easier to travel with watercolor materials. I have done workshops all over the U.S. from Jekyll Island, Georgia to Sedona, Az. to Chincoteague,Virginia and on and on. I have also traveled with International Artist Magazine instructors in Italy and England. Each class or workshop taught me something new, and I look forward to sharing what I have learned with others.
