Selling your artwork, creating a website, ordering prints, getting a gallery exhibit, or winning prizes at juried exhibitions are often determined by the quality of your digital photograph. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to set up, position lighting, crop, and color correct your artwork’s photographs properly. It’s also essential to have good photographs for insurance, brochures, art postcards, and press announcements. Let’s reduce the stress and learn from a professional. With limited lighting and any digital camera or cell phone style, you can easily set up your 2-D or 3-D artwork to make photographs that provide richness of color, preserve texture, and reproduce subtle or dark colors beautifully. This lecture, demonstration, and hands-on workshop will explore camera settings, lighting setup, what to know about creating the right shooting environment and some computer software techniques.
Bring your artwork to photograph and if you have a camera/manual. Instructor will bring camera, tripod, LED lights and gels..
