Drawing from scratch, for the beginner….or anyone who would like to review the basics and increase your drawing skills. Drawing is a skill, a skill that everyone can develop. Drawing is detective work…Looking and establishing what and how you see, and expressing it on paper…or canvas…or wood….the choices are endless. Drawing is basic to expressing yourself in art. It is the skill of mark making.
We will cover the basics of Linear and aerial perspective, practice shading, learn to loosen our brains to reduce the complex to simple readable shapes , we can practice portraiture and figures.
This class is to help people who want to practice the basics from the ground up….we will practice the skills of shading using simple shapes; showing textures, (trees, plant life).
Also if there are particular items you want to practice, we can focus on that. This class is for YOU!
