A virtual class to learn drawing from scratch. 

For beginners….or anyone who would like to review drawing basics.

THIS CLASS IS LIMITED TO 15 STUDENTS.

Class time: Tuesday evenings,  June 23 and June 30  7PM- 8:30PM.  

Price:  $30

This will be an on-line virtual class taking place on ZOOM.  Students will receive information on how to log on once their registration is complete.  

**Drawing is detective work…Looking and establishing what and how you see, and expressing it on paper…or canvas…or wood….the choices are endless!

I will demonstrate the basic skills of shading and using simple shapes; showing textures from trees and plants.  Students will apply these drawing concepts into their practice sessions.  This class is to help people who want to practices the basics from the ground up.  We will practice the skills of shading using simple shapes; showing textures, (trees, plant life).

The first session will be two classes.  If there is interest in learning a larger variety of drawing skills, additional classes may be added. 

As we add drawing sessions we will cover a larger variety of drawing skills, and your questions and desires will be considered!

Materials:  

Paper….Drawing or sketchbook is best,  9x12 or larger.  (OR you may use copy size   

paper…81/2 x 11. ( Especially if you are just testing this out)

Pencils:  minimum-  1 HB  or no.2 pencil

Plastic or kneadable eraser….These types do not ruin the paper

2-3 pieces of fruit for drawing

Optional: Drawing pencil set of differing hardness 6B, 3B, these are soft and  blacker in color.
